The Masters Class

The Masters Class is designed for comics who are already performing regularly. This eight week workshop focuses on honing your writing skills, defining and developing your persona and preparing you for auditions. You'll have fun, build your confidence and become funnier both on and off stage while practicing your craft in a friendly and supportive environment.

There are two sections of the Masters Class. One that meets on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and another that meets on Saturday afternoons from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Workshop includes:

• 8 classes.
• An Industry Showcase at Broadway Comedy Club at the end of the class. (This show is also your official audition for both Broadway and New York Comedy Clubs simultaneously and is audited by Al Martin himself live and in person.)
• Personal "one on one" feedback from Al Martin (owner and booker of both Broadway and New York Comedy Clubs) on your Industry Showcase performance after the show at the club that evening.
• A DVD of your Industry Showcase performance.
• Class size is limited to 12 students per class.
• Class is by audition or invitation only.
• Installment payment plans and private coaching are also available.

Besides television appearances on Comedy Central, CBC (Toronto) and Discovery Channel Europe, Mr. Vignola has also appeared at “Just for Laughs” (the Montreal Comedy Festival) with Bill Maher and toured with Armed Forces Entertainment (the USO) performing for our troops in Afghanistan.

Many class alumni have been passed by Al Martin for spots at Broadway and New York Comedy Clubs, some already receiving paid and weekend spots!
