The Masters Class is designed for comics who are already performing regularly. This 6 week workshop focuses on honing your writing skills, defining and developing your persona and preparing you for industry, A room, television and festival auditions. This is an advanced class and by audition or invitation only.

Frank Vignola (instructor)
Frank Vignola is known amongst his peers as a comic's comic. His sharp and intelligent take on the issues makes an impression on even the most jaded veterans who often linger in the back of the house just to see what he might say next.
Besides television appearances on Comedy Central, NBC and the BBC (London), Mr. Vignola has also appeared at "Just for Laughs" (the Montreal Comedy Festival) with Bill Maher and toured with Armed Forces Entertainment (the USO) performing for our troops in Afghanistan.
And his one man show "God and Science" was produced in a limited theatrical run in 2009.

The City's Comedy Conservatory offers outstanding improv comedy classes for everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned pro.
Whether you're looking to develop a new skill, perfect your craft or just meet some new friends and have a great time, The City is a great place to study improv comedy.
The City's Comedy Conservatory is broken up into six, eight-week classes. Classes start with the absolute basics and build on previous lessons to transform students into masters of improv comedy.
The City also offers additional Master Classes for those with previous improv experience.
All City Students receive student I.D. cards which get them into all City improv shows as well as all Broadway Comedy Club shows for free as well as get them discounts on food and drink at the club. Students will also qualify to be placed on house teams which perform at The City on a regular basis.
The City Conservatory Director: Aaron Haber
The City's Founder Aaron Haber has a 15-year track record of teaching improv in Chicago and New York. In Chicago he trained with legendary improv guru, Del Close, who had a profound affect on his performance style and improv theories. Aaron has also been seen on Comedy Central, Comedy Net and the big and small screen.
Aaron has fashioned The City's Comedy Conservatory to be a challenging yet achievable improv training program. It is Aaron's firm belief that anyone can learn to improvise and excel at Improv comedy.
