Comedians Who Have Performed at Broadway Comedy Club


Ted Alexandro

Time Out NY magazine named Ted Alexandro one of the top comedians working today. Ted has performed on David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, The View and two half-hour specials on Comedy Central. Ted has performed internationally on "The World Stands Up" in London, "The Big Night of Comedy Festival" in Amsterdam and three times at Montreal's "Just for Laughs Comedy Festival". He has also performed in Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait and Hong Kong. Uproar magazine had this to say: "With an appeal similar to Ray Romano and Jerry Seinfeld, Ted Alexandro may very well become New York's next big hit!"


Tim Allen

Allen started his career as a comedian in 1975. On a dare from one of his friends, he participated in a comedy night at a comedy club in Detroit. He later moved to Los Angeles and became a member of The Comedy Store there. He began to do stand-up appearances on late-night talk shows and specials on record and film. Allen rose to fame in acting with the television series Home Improvement on ABC. During one week in November 1994, he simultaneously starred in the highest grossing film (The Santa Clause), topped the New York Times best-seller list with his book Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man, and appeared in the top rated television series (Home Improvement). The following year, he provided the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the blockbuster Toy Story. Allen hosted the 8th Annual TV Land Awards on April 25, 2010.


Dave Attell

Attell worked his way up through the club scene onto the road, touring across America as a national headliner and developing a huge following among fans and the industry alike. Dave Attell was named one of the “25 Funniest People in America” by Entertainment Weekly Magazine. In 2001, Attell created and hosted the hit series, "Insomniac with Dave Attell" for Comedy Central. Dave headed out on a thirty-five city theatre tour ending in Vegas, where he hosted a two-hour special for Comedy Central. Dave Attell has made numerous appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O'Brien,” “The Howard Stern Show,” “Later with Carson Daly” and “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”. He also appeared in Chris Rock’s cult film "Pootie Tang”. Other television credits include FOX's "Arrested Development," NBC's "Ed," HBO, Comedy Central’s "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and his own half-hour stand-up special "Comedy Central Presents Dave Attell”. When not on the road, Attell makes regular appearances in New York City.


Nate Bargatze

Nate Bargatze is a comedian, born and raised in Old Hickory,TN. He grew up watching his Father who is a world class magician and decided to follow his footsteps in the entertainment business. Since he made his television debut on CMT Comedy Stage in 2007, he has had two appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, performed on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and at the 2008 Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival in the ‘New Faces’ category receiving critical acclaim in the Hollywood Reporter. In 2007, Nate wrote for the Video Game Awards. Nate recently returned from his second tour in Iraq performing for the troops in Baghdad. He continues to keep the momentum going working every night in New York City comedy clubs when he is not on the road.


Greer Barnes

Greer Barnes was born in the Bronx, New York City. Athletics led Greer to baseball in which he excelled. Having been scouted by the San Francisco Giants he seemed to be on his way until he suffered a career ending injury at age eighteen. Following his second dream of stand up comedy, Greer was quickly noticed and began headlining at clubs and colleges across the country. His television credits include, "In Living Color", "The Late Show with Carson Daly", Comedy Central's "Premium Blend", "The Late Show with David Letterman", and "Chappelle's Show", to name a few. Greer was able to combine both his love for baseball and acting when he appeared with Kevin Costner in the film "For the Love of the Game". His first "Comedy Central Presents" half-hour special premiered in 2009.


Todd Barry

Todd Barry was born in New York City. He moved to South Florida as a cute little boy, then moved to Manhattan as a macho little man. He received a BA in English from the University of Florida.


Hannibal Buress

Hannibal Buress appeals to all audiences with his unique delivery and quirky outlook on a wide variety of topics. Currently, he is a writer for "Saturday Night Live" and was last seen on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He's won Time Out magazine's "Funniest Person in Chicago" contest, was a finalist in the "Laugh Across America" contest, one of the Chicago finalists in the NBC "Stand-up for Diversity Showcase" and competed in the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Hannibal was a stand out performer in the New Faces showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival and was selected to perform on the "Comedy Factory" television show in Holland.


Joe DeRosa

Joe DeRosa started stand-up comedy by hitting the Wednesday night open mic at the Laff House in Philadelphia, PA. It was not long before Joe made the jump to New York City to take up comedy as a full time gig. He quickly began working frequently at New York venues such as Caroline's, Stand-up New York, the Laugh Factory, and Gotham Comedy Club. He also made appearances on "Last Call with Carson Daly," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and the "New Faces" showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival. In addition, he's performed on national tours such as Dave Chappelle's "Block Party Tour" and the "Insomniac Tour" with Dave Attell. Joe continues to perform constantly, making television appearances and headlining clubs and colleges both in and out of the country.


Dustin Diamond

Diamond has performed stand-up comedy for many years. His comedic style references his sitcom years as well as using very blue humor in his stage act. He also played bass in the progressive math rock/metal band Salty The Pocketknife. Diamond has also appeared on truTV's The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest... as a commentator.


Pat Dixon

Audiences across the country have enjoyed Pat Dixon's fluid stage manner, dry delivery and boldly creative material. Recognized as a top-notch writer and engaging performer, Dixon combines a conversational style with tight, punchy material, all fueled by a uniquely off-kilter comedic sensibility which makes him not only funny but fun to watch. Costaki Economopolous

In the spring of 1993 Costaki was doing graduate work at the University of Georgia. He spent most of his time hammering out a thesis on the influence of political satire on our feelings about government. His off time was spent honing his stand-up skills in pizza joints and bars around town. He hung in there, finished the thesis, got his master’s degree, and within a year was a full-time comic on the road. His humor has been described as smart, pointed, hip, sharp, insightful, socially relevant, and gut-laugh funny. Costaki began to make some noise in the business by reaching the finals of the Seattle Comedy Competition, where he was discovered and invited to the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival. He was just one of ten finalists in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots national talent search. Also a talented writer, Costaki’s jokes have appeared on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, and Best Damn Sports Show Period. He wrote jokes for Bette Midler’s Kiss My Brass tour. But he is easily best known for “The Economonologue,” a weekly segment on the syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show that reaches some 5 and half million people in 150 markets.


Dean Edwards

Comedian Dean Edwards has been making his mark in comedy following two successful seasons as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live.” With such memorable impressions as Don Cheadle, Michael Jackson and Denzel Washington, as well as such original characters as “Man in Elevator” and “Cop#2”. Dean most recently appeared in Showtime’s “Comics Without Borders”, the nine-week comedy series which showcased multi-cultural stand-up comedians. Currently devoting his career to standup comedy, Dean released a comedy DVD with Salient Media in mid-2009. In addition to standup, Dean has made several late night appearances, including “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” He is also a favorite and frequent guest on Byron Allen’s “Comic Unleashed,” and is frequently providing comedic commentary on various VH1 highlight shows. Director Malcolm Lee also chose Dean to finish Bernie Mac’s voice/ADR work on “Soul Men” after the comedian’s untimely death. Dean also provided the voiceover of Barack Obama’s on the new CNN show “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News”. Dean also worked with Spike Lee on the hit feature film “The Original Kings of Comedy”.


Ophira Eisenberg

Ophira Eisenberg is a Canadian comedian, writer, and actress. She has made guest appearances on comedy programs including Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and Fresh Faces of Comedy, as well as VH-1's Best Week Ever and All Access, the E! Channel, the Oxygen Network, and the Discovery Channel. She had her own half-hour comedy special for CTV Television Network’s Comedy Now! She was also featured in the award-winning Canadian film The Overlookers and episodes of The Guardian and Queer as Folk. Eisenberg is a core performer in the live shows Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad and The Liar Show. She was featured in New York magazine’s “Ten New Comedians That Funny People Find Funny”, New York Post’s “The 50 Best Bits That Crack Up Pro Comics”, selected by Back Stage magazine as one of “10 Standout Stand Ups Worth Watching” in their Spotlight on Comedy Issue, and hailed as a “Highly Recommended Favorite” by Time Out New York magazine. She was a MAC Awards (Manhattan Association of Clubs and Cabarets) Finalist for Best Female Comic.


Jon Fisch

Jon's appearances on Last Comic Standing 4, where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite, gained him wide recognition and a new legion of fans. He has also been seen on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, was invited to perform at the 2007 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and is a host of 3 Men and a Chick Flick this season on the WE network. A prolific monologist with universal appeal, Jon focuses on the idiosyncrasies of city living. He was chosen as one of Comedy Central's Fresh Faces of Comedy and named one of Back Stage Magazine's 10 Standout Stand-ups. Jon was a critical favorite at the prestigious Montreal "Just for Laughs" comedy festival as part of the "New Faces" showcase and the Club Series show "Dating It". Following his impressive appearances, Jon was singled out by both the Hollywood Reporter and the Montreal Gazette as a "standout performer".


Karith Foster

Karith Foster is a comedian, TV & radio personality, actress and inspirational speaker. She is best known for being Don Imus’ sidekick on his nationally syndicated “Imus in the Morning” radio show on WABC Radio. Karith has appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, NBC’s Today Show and Last Comic Standing, VH-1’s Best Week Ever, Awesomely Bad... and Black to the Future series. Judah Friedlander

Judah Friedlander is a stand-up comedian known as the WORLD CHAMPION. He's a great athlete, master of the martial arts, gets tons of chicks & is a role model to children. When not doing stand-up, Judah does a lot of acting work. He's currently a series regular on the Thursday night NBC comedy 30 ROCK , co-starring with Tina Fey & Alec Baldwin. Judah gained critical acclaim for his role as "Toby Radloff" in AMERICAN SPLENDOR. Judah's been in over 20 other movies including Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Date Movie, Wet Hot American Summer, Feast, and Showtime. Judah's many TV appearances include VH1's Best Week Ever, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, MTV's Wonder Showzen, The Tonight Show, other late night talk shows & Comedy Central shows. Judah also starred as the Hug Guy in the classic Dave Matthews Band music video Everyday.


Jim Gaffigan

Jim Gaffigan is an American stand-up comic and actor. He is best known for his Comedy Central Presents specials, a recurring role on the show My Boys and several nationwide commercials. Gaffigan is known for various routines or skits relating to being lazy and eating food, especially famous routines regarding Hot Pockets, ketchup, and bacon. His 2006 album, Beyond the Pale, consisted primarily of material regarding food and American eating habits. The album was accompanied by an hour-long special on Comedy Central of the same name, which was also released on DVD. His 2009 album, King Baby, was also a television special filmed in Austin, Texas at the end of his tour, "The Sexy Tour".


Joey Gay

Joey Gay is now a regular at New York comedy hotspots like Caroline's on Broadway, Comedy Village, Laugh Factory and Catch a Rising Star. In addition to performing at top clubs across the country, he has also appeared at casinos such as the Borgata and Resorts in Atlantic City and Foxwoods in Connecticut. Gay says he wanted to be on "Last Comic Standing" so he could "compete against the best comics in America." As an actor, he has appeared on NBC's "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Deadline." On the big screen, Gay appeared in the films "Close Strangers," "Exit 8A," "Times Modem," "The Vibe" and "The Play." He has also appeared on several cable shows, including MTV's "Damage Control."


Chris Griggs

Chris Griggs may be from Tennessee, but he’s not your garden variety southern comic. More in the tradition of Ron White than Larry “The Cable Guy”, he is a multi-faceted performer with tremendous range who will have the audience not only laughing, but thinking. He has been a regular host for TV Land’s "Prime Movies" and has made television appearances on Saturday Night Live, Discovery Channel, and Pax TV. He was selected to represent New York on the TV show “World Cup Comedy,” produced by Kelsey Grammar. In addition to being an improv veteran at The Peoples Improv Theater, Chris has been featured in the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Lowell Comedy Festival, and The Average White Guy comedy tour.

Ryan Hamilton

Ryan was recently named one of Rolling Stone magazine's 'Five Comics to Watch' and appeared at Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs festival. He made his national TV debut when he appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing and Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. Previously, he won Sierra Mist's 'America's Next Great Comic' Search, and was a finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival competition and appeared at HBO's Las Vegas Comedy Festival as an up-and-coming talent. He was also a finalist in three national stand-up competitions including the Comedy Central Laugh Riots.


Richard Jeni

Jeni first received recognition through a series of Showtime stand-up specials and frequent appearances on The Tonight Show. HBO picked up his first appearance on The HBO Comedy Hour in 1992, titled Richard Jeni: Platypus Man. He appeared in The Aristocrats, Dad's Week Off, Burn, Hollywood, and Chasing Robert. After making his "Tonight Show" debut in 1989 with Johnny Carson, Jeni appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno more than any other stand-up comedian. In 2004, Jeni was ranked #57 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.


Jesse Joyce

Jesse has been seen on Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham, and his segment on Comedy Central’s website remains in the top most watched clip for the season. Jesse was invited to be part of the Comedy Central on Campus College Tour. He’s appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’s “Pass The Mic” segment. He was a contributing writer for Comedy Central’s Roasts of Joan Rivers, Larry The Cable Guy, Bob Saget and Flava Flav as well as the TBS Celebrity Roast of Cheech and Chong. His debut CD Joyce To The World has been well received. Jesse can be frequently heard on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom morning show,on Bob and Tom’s CD As Big As A Hat, and The Montreal Comedy Hour on the CBC in Canada. Jesse has been one of the members of the nationally touring Comedy Addiction Tour. Jesse was invited to participate in The Great American Comedy Festival 2008 – a tribute Johnny Carson. He wrapped shooting his first feature film “Stags” out in early 2010. He recently took part in Stand Up 360. In 2001 he received 2 American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) for his writing.


Aron Kader

Aron likes to thank his Palestinian father and Mormon mother for giving him so many reasons to be a comedian. Kader spent years in the sketch theatre “The Groundlings” Sunday company and is a founding member of “The Axis of Evil Comedy tour”. He has toured nationally and internationally, most recently in Middle East selling out 27 shows. He’s proud to be one of the only American comedians in history to go to Kuwait and not entertain the troops... he entertained Kuwaitis. He has also been seen on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, “The Shield,” on F/X, VH1, E!, CNN, and many others. He has been a guest on NPR and featured in the Wall street Journal, Newsweek, TIME and many other national publications. He was a standout at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and received stellar reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Kader became the first to teach a stand-up comedy class in Jordan and Dubai. Aron can be seen performing regularly in Hollywood or touring all the major clubs and colleges around the country.


Myq Kaplan

Myq just made his debut on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien,” and his half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special will appear in 2010 (a year for which Punchline Magazine says to watch out for Myq). He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” at the New Faces show of the 2009 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, was voted 2008’s Best Local Comedian in the Boston Phoenix, and won the 2009 NY’s Funniest Standup Competition.


Brian Kiley

Brian Kiley has appeared several times on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O'Brien”. He appears regularly at Caroline's Comedy Club in NYC. He has been a staff writer for Late Night with Conan O'Brien since 1994 and he has been nominated for 12 Emmy Awards and he is the winner of the 2007 Emmy Award for Writing in a Comedy/Variety Series. Other shows that Brian has appeared on include “Comedy Central Presents”, “Dr. Katz Professional Therapist”, “The CBS Morning Show”, “Spotlight Café”, “Caroline's Comedy Hour”, “Comedy On The Road”, and “An Evening at the Improv”.


Jessica Kirson

Jessica Kirson's unique style and captivating stage makes it easy to understand why she was selected to perform at the Hamptons, Toyota, Marshall's Women in Comedy, Comedy Central's South Beach and HBO's Las Vegas comedy festivals. She has been featured Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and "Fresh Faces," Nickelodeon's "Sixth in the Suburbs," Noggin's "LOL," VH1's "Awesomely Bad" Shows, Showtime's, "White Boyz in the Hood,". Lynne Koplitz

Lynne Koplitz is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She was host of Telepictures' nationally syndicated dating show Change of Heart, guest host on NBC's Later, co-host of the Food Network's How to Boil Water, and co-host of Sony Pictures syndicated talk show Life and Style. Her stand-up has appeared on a number of Comedy Central specials, including Premium Blend. She performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Koplitz is one of the comedian contributors to the "History of the Joke" on the History Channel. Koplitz is currently featured in one of the "What's Funny About That Time Of The Month" series of advertisements for Midol, with the "Sick Boyfriend" installment. She can also be seen on Z Rock, on IFC. Currently, she is co-host of the "Star Talk Radio Show".


Esther Ku

Esther Ku is a comedian, actress and musician. In 2008, Ku was selected as the only female comedian from New York City to advance to the Las Vegas Semi-Finals in NBC’s Last Comic Standing. In Vegas, she advanced to become a Last Comic Standing Season 6 Finalist. Six months later, she was selected by Howard Stern as a finalist in the Hottest Funniest Chick Contest on Sirius Satellite Radio. She has been a featured regular in the Boston International Comedy Festival and the New York Underground Comedy Festival. She has performed in the hit comedy Shear Madness. Ku officially began her stand-up career in Boston where she shared the stage with Doug Stanhope, Steven Wright, Jonathan Katz, and Teddy Bergeron. She now resides in Brooklyn and travels the country entertaining audiences with her all-American bratty charm and infamous maniacal laugh.


Lisa Landry

Landry has appeared on CBS's "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" & "The Bonnie Hunt Show" on NBC. She starred in her own half hour Special, "Comedy Central Presents Lisa Landry". And a nationwide vote catapulted her special to third place out of 100 top comedians in Comedy Central's annual "Standup Showdown." Landry's CD Put Your Keys in the Key Bowl was selected by iTunes as one of the "Top 10 Best Comedy CDs" of 2008. She is one of a handful of comedians chosen by TBS for their "We Know Funny" series of stand-up style commercials. She's also appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and co-starred on NBC's "Law and Order: SVU". The Louisiana native was featured on "Brett Butler's Southern Belles of Comedy" DVD. She did commentary for E!'s "Forbes Top 100 Celebrities" and CMT's "20 Greatest Redneck Moments", where Landry was chosen as a "Top Pick" by TV Guide. Her guest appearances include Fox's "Morning Show with Mike and Juliet", the "Bob and Tom Show", Fox's "Redeye" and the "Hollyweird" segment on MSNBC's "Scarborough Country". For four years, Landry was a comedy writer for US Weekly Magazine.

Joe is quickly becoming known as one of the hottest new comedians in New York, performing regularly at some of the top clubs in the city. In the fall of 2007 Joe was featured in the prestigious HBO comedy festival in Las Vegas to outstanding reviews. Leighann Lord

Inspired by the brilliance of George Carlin, the smooth jazz style of Franklyn Ajaye, and the elegance of Rita Rudner, Leighann has crafted her own unique brand of Thinking Cap Comedy. It’s no wonder she received the NYC Black Comedy Award for "The Most Thought Provoking Black Female Comic." She has performed for audiences in North America, Europe, the Carribean and for U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom. Leighann is a regular on the Fox News online show, The Strategy Room. Her popular weekly humor column, Leighann Lord’s Comic Perspective is featured on StageTimeMagazine. She is also a frequent contributor to FoxNew.com’s Team Washington Blog and The Huffington Post. Al Lubel

After graduating from law school in Florida, Al moved to Los Angeles, passed the California Bar Exam on his first try and wouldn't you know it, immediately began the practice of stand-up comedy. He won the $100,000 Grand Prize for comedy on Star Search. Doing the "The Tonight Show" was a childhood fantasy, so when Al heard that Johnny Carson was retiring, he auditioned and became one of the last comics to appear with Johnny. More recently, Al just made his fifth appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.


Carmen Lynch

Carmen Lynch is a half-Spaniard who fell into comedy by accident. She wasn't getting any acting roles because all the boys getting cast were shorter than her...and no one wanted to cast a tall female w/ a short male. "What's wrong w/ that" she asks "I see comedy all over that". Unfortunately she had to go for something she could do alone - stand up was the answer. Carmen Lynch also got to the finals of Last Comic Standing Season One, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Aspen Comedy Festival.


Joe Matarese

Joe's talent for turning real life struggles into comedic gems quickly landed him appearances on the most sought after TV and radio shows including The Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, The Howard Stern Show and Breuer Unleashed on Sirius Satellite Radio, Howard On Demand, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and NBC's Last Comic Standing. You may also recognize him from Bravo's reality series Better Half. Joe has also hit the stage four times at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, leading to two development deals with major television networks. Joe's landed a guest starring role on IFC's Zrock, and Howard TV's hit show "Show In The Hallway". Tom McCaffrey

Tom McCaffrey began his career in stand-up comedy in LA, and in 2003 he was chosen to compete in Comedy Central's "Laugh Riots" national stand-up competition. Later that same year he appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and "Shorties Watching Shorties". In 2004 Comedy Central chose him as one of their "Fresh Faces of Comedy". In 2005 he was tapped by Comedy Central again to host their "Secret Stash Movie". He also performed on the "Invite Them Up CD/DVD compilation" produced by Comedy Central Records. He has appeared on the VH1 shows "All Access" and the upcoming "100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs". He has taped 8 episodes of the new show "The A-List". He has written for "The Onion News Network" and he writes a monthly humor column for the magazine "The Comedians".

Paul Mecurio

In 1996, Paul was invited to be on the original writing and performing team for a new Comedy Central show called “The Daily Show.” In 2001, as a writer for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” Paul won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement In Writing In A Variety, Music or Comedy Program. For his work on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Indecision 2000,” Paul was honored with a Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting. In 2002, Paul received his second Emmy nomination for his work on “The Daily Show.” Paul has also been featured as a field correspondent on “The Daily Show” and in “The Daily Show” segment, “Second Opinion”. Paul recently shot the television pilot “Sports Central,” in which he starred, co-created and executive produced. Paul has performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and has made TV appearances including “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” “Late Night w/Conan O’Brien,” Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,” Comedy Central’s “Dr. Katz”, NBC’s “Late Friday,” and appearances on VH1’s popular clip shows. Paul has been a guest on Fox News Channel and makes regular appearances on CNN, CNNfn and MSNBC as a political satirist. On May 21, 2004, Paul premiered his own “Comedy Central Presents” half-hour special. Paul was featured as a political satirist in the 2004 Presidential Election coverage by The Daily News, CNN, MSNBC, CNNfn, and ESPN2. Paul was seen in a guest-starring role opposite John Cleese in the ABC sitcom “Wednesday at 9:30”. He can also be seen in the upcoming film drama, “High Art, Low Life,” the lead role in the independent film “Faux Pix.” Paul has written, produced and directed five short films, the latest of which, “Gloves,” has been screened at several prestigious film festivals including “The US Comedy Arts Festival” in Aspen, “The Toronto Film Festival,” “The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival” and “The San Sebastian Film Festival” in Spain. Paul also worked on the film “American Buffalo,” starring Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Franz based on the award winning David Mamet play of the same name.


Russ Meneve

Russ Meneve has been performing comedy in and around New York City for the past eight years, where he has honored his skills to an edge as sharp as his material. Bobby Miyamoto

Here's the basic story. I was raised in Boise, Idaho. My face turns really red when I drink alcohol. My dad's side of the family is Japanese, they all live in Hawaii. I went to college at Arizona State University, where I partied a lot and developed an offbeat sense of humor. Now I travel all over the country and perform for all types of crowds, mainly drunk ones. When some people find out I do comedy, they ask the question, "What's your comedy about?" Basically, I try to think of funny stuff and then say it on stage. I wish I was deeper than that.


Tracy Morgan

Morgan began his career on Martin, where he played Hustle Man. In the 2003 Chris Rock film Head of State. Morgan was also a regular cast member on "Uptown Comedy Club". He was also on the HBO show Snaps. Morgan joined the cast of comedy show Saturday Night Live in 1996, where he performed as a regular until 2003. Morgan is currently a cast member of the NBC television show 30 Rock. His work on 30 Rock has been well-received, being nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2009 Emmy Awards. Morgan had his own show, The Tracy Morgan Show, in 2003, which was canceled after one season. He appeared in the movie The Longest Yard, starring Adam Sandler, as a transvestite inmate. Morgan has hosted the VH1 Hip Hop Honors for 2 consecutive year.


Rosie O'Donnell

Donnell toured stand-up clubs from 1979 to 1984. She got her first big break on Star Search. In 1988, she hosted Stand-up Spotlight, a showcase for up-and-coming comedians. O'Donnell made her feature film debut in A League Of Their Own alongside Tom Hanks and Madonna. She appeared in Sleepless in Seattle as Meg Ryan's best friend; as Betty Rubble in the live-action film adaptation of The Flintstones with John Goodman; as one of Timothy Hutton's co-stars in Beautiful Girls; as a federal agent comedically paired with Dan Aykroyd in Exit to Eden; as the voice of a tomboyish female gorilla named Terk in Disney's Tarzan; and as a baseball-loving nun in M. Night Shyamalan's Wide Awake.In 1996, she began hosting a daytime talk show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show. The show proved very successful, winning multiple Emmy awards, and earning O'Donnell the title of "The Queen of Nice" for her style of light-hearted banter with her guests and interactions with the audience.


Rob O'Reilly

With an appearances on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, NBC’s America’s Got Talent and on the Tonight Show as Jay Leno’s correspondent, 24 year-old Rob O’Reilly is quickly gaining a reputation as an up-and-coming comedian to watch in New York City. While attending Boston University on an academic scholarship, he became a finalist in the 2005 Boston Comedy Festival and retired any notions of a “normal career.” With his youthful point-of-view making him a favorite at three NACA conferences, Rob now headlines colleges across the country. He booked 27 colleges out of NACA Northeast (2007) alone. Residing in New York, he also enjoys playing in a comedian basketball league and performing sketch comedy with his group The Straightmen.


Dean Obeidallah

I have appeared on various national and international televisions shows, including Comedy Central's "Axis of Evil Comedy" special and "The Watch List," ABC's "The View," PBS documentary "Stand Up: Muslim Comics Come of Age," CNN's "American Morning" and "Wolf Blitzer's Reports," Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd," Showtime Arabia, NY1, PBS' "Newshour with Jim Lehrer," ABC's "20/20," CNBC's "The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch," Japan's NHK, CNN International's "Inside the Middle East" and "Your World Today," as well as in numerous sketches on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." I can also be seen in the DVD bonus material for Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 911" in the section entitled, "Arab-American comedians". I was very proud to recieve the first annual "Bill Hicks Spirit Award," from the NY Underground Comedy Festival and the Hicks' family. Rob Paravonian

Rob writes and performs comedy and music and is a regular at New York stand-up clubs and alternative comedy spaces. He also tours the country playing colleges and comedy clubs everywhere from Florida to Alaska, and from Maine to Montana. Comedy took Rob back to Chicago after college, where he studied improvisation and ensemble work at the legendary Second City Training Center. While in Chicago Rob became a regular at the Improv and began going on the road, playing the midwest clubs and headlining colleges from coast to coast. Rob moved to New York where he has made a name for himself as an intelligent and unique performer. Rob quickly became a regular at Catch a Rising Star, has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, has written cartoon theme songs, written and performed sketch shows and is on his third solo show.


Dat Phan

Dat Phan is the Original Winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and is a Headlining Comedian touring live across the U.S. He has made numerous TV and Movie appearances including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “The Family Guy” voiceover, “Cellular”, and “The Tyra Banks Show”. The DVD “Dat Phan Live” was released in January 2010 and is available from Amazon.com. CD “You Touch, You Buy“ is now available on Itunes. Preproduction on a movie titled “Yellow Fever” is in the works. Dat has been included in The Smithsonian Institution’s exhibition of The Top 10 Most Influential Vietnamese-American Individuals.


Lukas Seely

Lukas Seely started comedy back in his hometown of Billings, MT then relocated to Seattle in 2004. Lukas soon became a crowd favorite in Seattle Comedy scene and had since moved to Los Angeles, California where he regularly performs. He was nominated as an Emerging Comic in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and has also opened for such names as Dane Cook, Damon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Ron White, Bill Burr, Greg Giraldo, Jeffery Ross, to name a few. Lukas is a rising Star you must catch!


Dan Soder

Originally from Aurora, CO, Dan Soder started doing stand up at 21 while attending the University of Arizona. After two years of playing clubs and casinos all over the southwest, Dan decided he'd had enough of extreme heat and venomous animals so he moved to New York to get serious about stand-up. When he's not napping or being lazy you can see Dan perform at clubs all over the city. You can also see Dan on this upcoming season of "Live at Gotham." He hopes to not shame his family or friends — he also hopes he gets more time to nap now that he's been on TV.


Josh Spear

Josh Spear built and defined himself as an original voice in Standup Comedy in New York City and performing in all the venues New York has to offer, as well acting in sketches on shows such as Conan O’ Brien & The Chris Rock show. Josh toured the US on the Finding Tom tour. The tour began on the same day he taped his brief appearance on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Josh wrote for and made numerous video sketches and pilots for the website Bamboozle TV. He recently appeared on the internet’s Comedy Net and SiTV plus Anthony Anderson’s Mixed Tape show. In 2010 Josh made appearances on CBS’s the early Show and NBC’s the Today Show and radio’s 1010 Wins.


Baron Vaughn

Baron Vaughn tours the country performing at colleges, has appeared in numerous national commercials, easily missed roles on TV, and laughable parts in film. He was part of the American Eagle Campus Comedy Challenge, was part of the 2007 DC Comedy Festival, and was selected to perform at the prestigious 2006 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He most recently performed in "Damn Yankees" at the NY City Center with Jane Krakowski and Sean Hayes. He also performed in Manhattan Theatre Club's "Drowning Crow" on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre. Mike Vecchione

Started stand up comedy in 2000 and moved to New York City in 2003. Was the 1983 and 1984 Spelling Bee runner up at Pine Grove Elementary School. I failed to advance to the national bee in Washington D.C. because of the complexity of the word roothless, which I still spell with two o's.


Sheng Wang

Taiwan born, Houston raised and SF Bay Area based, Sheng Wang performs comedy focused on personal experiences and insightful observations of the mundane with intense honesty and ill logic. His refreshingly affable stage presence combined with a healthy penchant for absurdity and self deprecation make his comedy universally hilarious. He is the recipient of last year's "Dan Crawford Scholarship" award from the SF Punchline and is currently on a national college tour sponsored by American Eagle Outfitters.


Rusty Ward

Rusty Ward has established himself as one of the most watched and talked comedians online. His videos have been viewed more than 25 million times and have been featured on MSNBC, E!, VH1 and CNN. He is currently the head writer for BarelyPolitical.com where he produces and stars in satirical videos. Rusty has headlined clubs and colleges across the country. He has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and has relesed "Learning to Touch Yourself" – a live performance CD.


Reese Waters

Reese has headlined and performed his smart yet grounded stand-up comedy all across the United States. In April 2008, Reese won the annual Caroline's March Madness Comedy Competition. His television appearances include Good Morning America and BET-J's My Two Cents and he has been featured on National Public Radio. Also a writer, he writes regularly for AM New York. Reese amuses himself by watching the show Cold Case and searching for reasonable explanations for watching the show Cold Case.


Damon Wayans

Damon started doing stand-up comedy in 1982. He was briefly on Saturday Night Live as a featured performer. He went on to do the TV-show In Living Color from 1990 to 1992. He starred in films such as The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype and wrote and starred in the film Blankman. In 1996, he produced Waynehead, a cartoon for the WB. In 2006, he began starring in The Underground, a sketch comedy series on Showtime. He hosted the 2006 BET Awards. For his outstanding role in the ABC comedy series My Wife and Kids, Wayans earned 4 International Press Academy "Golden Satellite Award" nominations and 4 Emmy awards nominations for his acting and directing in the 90's series "In Living Color".


Shawn Wayans

Wayans made his feature debut in older brother Keenen's I'm Gonna Get You Sucka. On Fox's In Living Color, he became a featured performer. Along with Marlon, Shawn Wayans created and starred in the sitcom The Wayans Bros. and co-wrote, co-executive produced and starred in the feature Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. Wayans' film fortunes increased dramatically when he co-starred with his brother Marlon in a hit film directed by their older brother Keenan: Scary Movie. He kept the familial team intact when he and Marlon starred in the Keenan-directed comedy White Chicks. Wayans teamed up with Marlon and Keenen once again for the 2006 comedy Little Man. He acted in, co-wrote, and co-produced the film.
